JN Taylor and Company Ltd is showcasing a range of new products at Sanctuary Cove’s show. In the Furuno line up, the company will launch in Australia a number of products.

The GP-33 NMEA2000/0183 Multi Data GPS unit, featuring a 4.3 inch colour LCD capable of displaying plotter, steering, highway, Nav data, satellite motor display with user displays 1 and 2 is one such product.

Also being showcased is the RD-33 NMEA2000/0183 unit which offers a 4.3 inch LCD capable of displaying Nav data, highway, heading, speed, depth graph, graph, layline, STW, SOG, RPM and rudder details.

Other displays include wind angle, air temperature, humidity, roll and pitch, battery, engine temperature, oil pressure and temperature, trim and watch.

In other Australian releases, the exhibitor is showcasing the MU-150HD and MU-190HD high definition displays; both IP56 rated crystal clear 15-and 19-inch marine grade monitors. They can be used as a main or remote display. Furuno’s Inmarsat fleet broadband Felcom 250 is also at the Show.

This offers simultaneous access to voice and high-speed data communications with global coverage provided through three Inmarsat-4 satellites (except for Polar Regions). Fleet Broadband brings ship to shore and ship to ship operational and social communications into the broadband era.

In other Australian releases at the Show, the exhibitor launches the WASSP/Navigator multibeam fishing system which helps build and save very detailed bathymetric profiles recording fish shoal information and share this information with other WASSP users or vessels.

Navigator is a management tool which enables the user to highlight, profile or view in any direction in 2D or 3D as well as save and print information. The exhibitor launches from Intellian, the T-110 and T-130 3-axis stablised satellite TV antenna system.

The T-110 and T-130 is the most powerful and robust 3-axis stabilised TV antenna system on the market with patented WRS and DBT, fast search and tracking signal lock technologies. The system provides a rock-steady satellite signal reception even in the harshest conditions at sea. It has a built-in global satellite library and can receive TV service from multiple satellites around the globe.

A further launch is for FLIR’s M-series multi-sensor maritime night vision system. FLIR thermal imagers allow the user to see in total darkness. M-series cameras feature clear and detailed thermal imagery, more than twice the detection range of earlier systems with lowlight TV camera and colour on-screen symbology.

The HM-Series hand-held maritime thermal camera is shock-resistant, producing a clear image in the darkest of nights. The HM-Series will drastically increase situational awareness and can be used on commercial ships, for police and law enforcement vessels and for yachts.
